This Is What No One Tells You About Adoption

I discovered this article in the Huffington Post by an Adopted Person in the US called Andrea Ross. Andrea is the author of ‘Unnatural Selection: A Memoir of Adoption in Wilderness 2021. She articulates beautifully and succinctly the adoption trauma, the myths and her message that we must start to “shine light on adoption’s shame, secrecy, fear of abandonment, trauma, and loneliness, and work to heal these things”  It is a great short read.
